Unusual friendship: a man from Indonesia befriends a tigress

A man living in the Indonesian city of Malang has an unusual friendship with a tigress named Mulan. It started six years ago.

Then, the owner of a three-month-old tiger cub asked a boy named Abdullah Shole to watch over him. Since then, Shole and the animal have become inseparable. Today, Abdullah is 33 years old, and the forest tigress is only 6 years old. Her weight is almost 180 kilograms, which is quite a lot even for tigers. The average weight of the common females of this species is 140 kg.

The length of the predator (together with its tail) is three meters, its height is one meter. Mulan eats twice a day. The menu includes about 6 kilograms of meat of different varieties. Shole says he sometimes spends his nights in the enclosure, sleeping next to his tigress.

However, heavy steel bars are installed for the safety of the animal. Shole says the tigress is not aggressive or angry at all. Stories about such a striking friendship between a young guy and a fairly young predator have become famous on social media.
