In Alabama, as in any city, there are many stray cats that are grouped together. Volunteers sometimes take the cats in, and if there is no room, they give them food.
One day, volunteers noticed two newborn baby cats lying on the hot asphalt. They were in bad shape – very thin, with an eye infection and dirty hair. They were brought to the shelter to be shown to the vet sooner than anyone else. They turned out to be two sisters – gentle and friendly.
The vet was able to cure the cats and now they are much healthier and much more active. They have also been neutered so they are ready to find a new family. They are about 1 year old now and look very good.
