Explanations of scientists why a cat tramples us with its paws and what it wants to say with it

Cats are amazing creatures. Surely everyone who was even a little interested in cats noticed that from time to time these animals like to stomp their front legs as if they were kneading an invisible dough.
But hardly anyone knows why they do this.

We decided to find out why they make such movements, and we found some interesting information that we are happy to share with you.

As it turns out, there are several versions that explain this phenomenon.
But no matter which version the experts lean towards, because in essence they absolutely agree. If a cat tramples you with its front legs, it loves you!

The first version says that it is an innate instinct. When the cat feeds the kittens with milk, the little ones massage their mother’s breasts with their front legs, stimulating a better flow of milk.

And even when cats grow up, they unconsciously stamp their paws, as if they were immersing themselves in a happy, carefree childhood.

According to the second version, male and female cats have glands under their claws that produce a special kind of pheromone. In this way the cats show their love and affection to the one whom they stomp with their paws.

If your pet hurts you with this kind of massage with its claws, you should know that it does it without evil. On the contrary, in this way it expresses its tender feelings towards you!
