On the street of an American city volunteers noticed a strange cat. Its appearance resembled that of an unknown, overgrown animal. It turned out that the fluffy had been wandering in the backyards for 5 years.
The owners simply got rid of the cat when they moved to another place of residence. And before that, the mustachioed redhead wasn’t very spoiled by home life, spending most of his time on the streets.
When the kitty was brought to the veterinary clinic, the doctors were horrified by the neglected condition of the animal. Why no one took care of the kitten before and tried to help him cut off the loose hair? We will never get an answer to this question.
Upon examination, it turned out that the fluffy was quite an old cat, he was about 13 years old, the last five of which he spent on the street. The animal was given the affectionate name Buttercup, which was very suitable for his good-natured character.
The animal survived the unpleasant process of haircutting without any problems, he sat quietly in the hands of a volunteer and did not make a sound. Then he was treated with fleas, vaccinated and brought to the Nevada shelter. The staff felt very sorry for the kitten, and his case was one of the most difficult. The kitty barely left the hands of the volunteers at first. They could see that he was so hungry for the affection and care of people.
We hope that this loving old guy will be adopted by someone and become a happy cat in his age.
