The dog was playing in the forest and brought a tiny lost puppy into the house.
The owner started to take care of the baby, but after 2 months it became clear that it was not a dog. The puppy grew quickly and turned out to be a wild sable.
Nick Wake lives on the edge of the forest and often goes out with his German Shepherd Terry. Sometimes Terry plays alone in the woods. One day, a dog brought a small puppy to the porch. It was impossible to leave the baby – it was helpless and tiny.
Nick fed the new pet with milk mixture from an eyedropper, but after two months the man suspected that the puppy was not a dog at all. He kept trying to climb somewhere higher. The man named the baby Russell.
“The dog would never have climbed on the closet. When I saw Russell under the blanket, I began to suspect something,” the man said. The man took the pet to the vets.
It turned out that the dog brought home a real sable. Since childhood, a wild animal lived in the house and got used to it.
So Nick decided to continue to take care of the animal. The baby got used to it and soon became completely tame.
