This cat from the city of Tulsa in Oklahoma is similar to the cat named Matroskin. Maybe she is even better. Her life began in a shelter for homeless animals, where she, then a six-month-old kitten, was noticed by businessman Stuart McDaniel.
There were mice in the company’s building, which was run by Stuart. And as you know, cats are still the most effective way to deal with pesky rodents. The furry young cat with a serious look seemed to be an absolutely reliable partner for the businessman, and he took it to live with him.
The cat quickly got used to a new place. She became a real storm for the mice! In his free time from hunting, she clearly felt like a full member of the team and a full employee of the company. With a matter-of-fact look, she walked down the corridors, looked in the cabinets, took an active interest in the letters that were on the screens of computer monitors, and tried to participate in sending letters by pressing the keys.
In her free time, the Puffy sat at the exit of the building near the glass doors, basking in the rays of the warm sun. And when the company’s employees went home after work, they saw an amazing sight: Their cat was sitting with the most serious look and near her paws were the coins and small bills that were lying in a pile of impressive size. People were surprised: from where? And the story repeated itself the next day. In order to find out how the “mouse guardian” received such a considerable additional income, they decided to watch him. But no one expected this result of surveillance!
The company’s building was located in a rather busy place with many leisure centers. Passers-by couldn’t help but look at the furry cutie sitting behind a transparent door. Here, someone is sticking a bill in the gap between the glass doors for fun. The cat, deft with its paws, takes a piece of paper inside. General fun, laughter! And the attraction repeats the next interested viewer. At the end of the working day, the “earnings” of the cat was a significant amount!
The company’s team had to decide how to manage the cat’s income. Starting from the fact that the life of their caudal employee did not begin in the best conditions, they decided to spend these funds for charity – for the people who do not have a roof over their heads and bring to the city administration. And on the glass door, near which the cat was on duty, hung a sign informing about it.
The initiative of the company’s employees was approved by the citizens. The story of the cat philanthropist was spread on the Internet, asking people to join this action, send money by mail and via the Internet.
