A cat with kittens lay on the cold concrete and starved
A worker from an old warehouse noticed a small family of cats in one of the rooms. The mother was hugging the kittens and lying on the cold concrete floor.
She herself was shivering from cold and exhausted from hunger, but she warmed the kittens with all her strength.
The man was worried and decided to help the cat and kittens so that the children would not grow up in such harsh conditions. He contacted the rescue center Wrenn Rescues, whose staff was ready to take the cat family under their care.
The cat was picked up by a volunteer named Erin and her husband. When they brought the family home, they discovered that one of the kittens unfortunately did not survive. The kittens were quite weak and really needed care.
Erin and her husband did everything they could to save the kittens’ lives, and the mother cat, in turn, did not leave them. The cat, nicknamed Marigold, proved to be very friendly and attentive.
Fortunately, the kittens were rescued, and the mother cat was very grateful for it. She began to show gratitude in every way possible. Marigold was full of love and trust.
When the kittens get old enough, permanent keepers will be found for them. Currently, the babies are actively growing healthy and strong, and their mother doesn’t rely on them for a minute.
