Sally Burkey from Missouri, USA, brought dogs from a shelter to her wedding. In this way she helped the dogs a lot.
The wedding turned out to be spectacular. The five bridesmaids walked the dogs down the aisle on leashes, and they behaved impeccably and were much appreciated by the guests.
“They were all so well behaved and stood next to the bridesmaids and groomsmen as we said our vows,” Sally recalls. – You couldn’t have asked for it better.”
The reaction from guests was “incredible.” Sally not only managed to find new homes for the four dogs during the wedding, but she also raised more than $2,000 for the shelter. Sally’s example was contagious. Other couples began inviting dogs to their weddings in this way as well.
