The Castiller sisters decided to get a dog, but it took them a long time to find a suitable one, since they already had two cats living with them. Bethany and Samantha’s biggest challenge was reconciling the new tailless family member with their other pets.
A pit bull named Mako, whom the girls got from a shelter, was the best fit for them. The two-year-old dog has a calm and humble character, despite all the stereotypes people associate with the breed. Nevertheless, the owners were still worried about how their cats Pecan and Gizmo would react to him.
But their worries were in vain: Mako got used to his new home and not only got along with his fluffy roommates, but even soon adopted all their habits.
The dog has almost stopped barking and is used to sleeping on the couch. While doing so, he stretches his paws upwards in amusement. The pit bull has even taken to rubbing his owner’s feet like a real cat.
Most of all, Samantha and Bethany are amazed at their dog’s penchant for climbing on various high surfaces around the house. They are no longer surprised when Mako, Gizmo and Pekan sit on the table. In fact, the dog even jumps up in the hardest to reach places, like, for example, the closet.
Mako’s unique behavior has made him famous on social media: the cat has his own Instagram page, where the mistresses regularly share funny moments from the life of the big friendly family with their followers. The account of the pit bull has several thousand fans. Now Mako is conquering the expanses of the popular app TikTok.
