The woman noticed that her cat had met a small cat that often ran into her garden. The two played, ran together and hugged like old friends. One day, the cat came home and his new feline friend humbly followed him.
Alice McCall and her family noticed a homeless cat family in their backyard – a mother with kittens. They fed the cats and immediately went to the rescue center to care for them. When rescuers arrived the next day, they were able to pick up the mother cat and kitten, but were unable to catch the second kitten.
The little white cat continued to run into the family yard while keepers were already found for her mother and brother. The family also fed the baby and their pet cat Otley took a keen interest in her.
One morning, Otley’s owner saw the two getting to know each other and spending time together. They ran, played, hugged as if they had known each other for a long time.
The next day, as if nothing had happened, Otley brought his new girlfriend into the house and shared his food, and she humbly followed him. When people saw this sweet couple, they were touched.
The family thought it was fate, as their cat himself brought this baby into the house. The humans kept the white cat with them and nicknamed her Birdie. Thus, the street cat began a new life.
The kitten was examined by the vet and turned out to be healthy. From that day on, Birdie was Otley’s shadow – she was always running after him, repeating everything after him and learning important cat matters from him.
Otley took the responsible role of the older brother – he protects Birdie, takes care of her and even licks her fur. They are also inseparable.
The family did not plan to have another cat, but fate turned out that now they have two pets. But looking at this pair every day, they are glad Birdie showed up in their lives and made it brighter. Thank you to the kind family for rescuing this little one!
