Veterinarian Radoslaw Fedaczynski from Poland has long dreamed of creating not only a shelter for stray dogs, but a real village where they will be warm and comfortable, like in their own home.
Beautiful wooden houses, warm floors, heating, electricity, sofas and soft cribs – this is not a description of the hotel room, this is an animal shelter.
The doctor called this complex “dog village”. The dogs that Radoslaw rescued live here, waiting for their new owners.
I wanted the dogs to feel like they were at home, so any potential owner could spend the day with them,” he says.
Now there are seven houses that provide all the conditions for the animals to live comfortably and safely. These houses are the best way to prepare dogs for “adoption” and home environment.
The shelter workers devote 8-10 hours to the pets. In addition to the houses, there is a veterinary clinic and a rehabilitation center for animals.
In total, Radoslaw plans to build forty houses. Money for their construction is collected through donations.
It would be great if in the future all animal shelters would become such housing complexes. After all, even dogs who are not lucky enough to find a family have a chance to have a good life.
