Samuel and Ella were returning home after a walk. They walked down to the underground parking garage and were about to get into the car and start the engine, but something caught their attention.
It’s hard to tell if it was an unusual rustle or squeak or just a gut feeling. Something made the woman crouch down and take a good look at the wheels. And it wasn’t for nothing!
In the steering wheel, behind the polished caps, huge frightened eyes flashed. Cold and fear drove the little kitten there. Samuel acted decisively and the baby was quickly pulled out. Ella took the kitten in her arms – and from that moment the lovers decided that the find would stay with them. They named the cat Luna.
They never had cats and did not know what was normal and what was not. They did not know how to behave with a kitten and how to take care of it. They poured water and food for the baby: it ate and drank – and hid under the sofa.
The next day, Luna was taken to the vet. The doctor announced that the baby was healthy. Only an injured part of the tail fell off, the wound healed and Luna was left with a funny “stub” of a tail. But he does not have problems with this
Now the cat is about six months old, she has become braver and no longer hides under the sofa at night. Luna loves to play a lot, watch birds and travel with the owner on business in his hood.
The owner taught the baby to walk up the stairs and swim. The vet says that one of Luna’s parents is most likely a purebred Ragdoll – this is evidenced by her elegant “mask” and amazing blue eyes.
Samuel admits that he didn’t plan to have a cat, but Luna won his heart. And now he definitely loves cats! He and Ella are taking their first steps in the art of living with a cat.
