The story of the kitten Phoenix, who fought for his life and how the dogs helped him

It was the most ordinary day when the young woman went for a walk with the dogs, but she returned home with an unexpected pet.

It was a tiny kitten that found itself on the street, desperately calling for help with a plaintive meow.

Marisa, a Tel Aviv resident, works as a volunteer and often takes animals into her home. Since the young woman already has pets of her own, she had no plans to acquire new tail friends.

The little kitten sitting in the yard was dirty, very thin and covered with dust and fleas. Its thin voice cried out desperately for help.

Of course, the kind-hearted young woman could not remain indifferent.

I do not know if his mother was around, but I went for a walk with the dogs, and when I returned, it was still sitting there “, recalls Marisa.

When the young woman realized that a defenseless hairball needed help, she decided to take care of the baby. Although she was afraid that she would scare it off, so she did not take it in. Instead, Marisa returned home, grabbed some food, and went to the kitten again to offer a treat.

Surprisingly, the baby was not at all afraid of the stranger who approached it. Moreover, it allowed itself to be pulled together, after which Marisa carried it into the house. The kitten was weakened, needed food and water and because of that it could not stay outside.

Already at home, Marisa noticed that the baby named Phoenix had some wounds and scratches on the abdomen.

The veterinarian prescribed the necessary treatment for the pet, but Phoenix was so weak that at first Marisa doubted that it would survive at all.

Gradually, the tail patient began to recover and became stronger, and although the process was slow, the result was indescribably gratifying. Phoenix became active and somehow Marisa even found him in the kitchen!

The fact is that Phoenix lives in the bedroom in a small toy box all the time, but that day he jumped out and quietly slipped into the kitchen. But the funniest thing was that it didn’t organize the escape on its own, but together with a dog named Comet, who opened the door and helped it escape!

After this funny episode, the cat tried to get out of his corner all the time, so Marisa decided that it was worth giving him freedom.

However, the most joyful event was the meeting with the vet: the doctor could not believe that in front of him was the same kitten that was brought to him a week ago!

Now it was not a weak baby about to die, but a healthy baby with clean eyes and shiny hair.
