The kittens could not open their eyes because of infection, and then the cat turned to humans for help.
An unusual patient showed up at a veterinary clinic in Turkey the other day. A stray cat carrying a kitten by the teeth came to the clinic in the morning.
The mother gave a long, loud meow at the door, asking for help. And when it was opened, she walked confidently down the hallway and went straight to the veterinarian’s office.
Although she obviously had nothing to pay for, to her surprise the doctors immediately attended to the four-legged patient. It turned out that the kitten was suffering from an eye infection, so it could not open its eyes. The doctor sprayed the kitten’s eyes, and after a while it was finally able to regain its sight.
Apparently, the service of the clinic satisfied the cat, because the next day she brought veterinarians the second kitten. The problem was the same. And again doctors rushed to the rescue.
By the way, the veterinarians already knew this stray cat.
“We often gave her food and water. However, we did not know that she gave birth to kittens,” said the clinic staff.
In total, the caring mother gave birth to three babies. Veterinarians decided not to abandon the family and are now trying to find homes for the kittens.
The same incident happened about a year ago in the emergency room of an Istanbul hospital. The mother cat brought her sick kitten to the doctors. Again, the good Turkish doctors were not indifferent.
What was the baby sickness, the woman did not say. However, a visitor to the hospital assured that the paramedics immediately rushed to the kitten’s aid, and to calm the mother cat, they gave her milk and food.
