The footage, filmed by a resident of Queensland (Australia) named Juliette, showed how loyal the friendship between animals can be.
It all started last September, when Juliette was walking her pet Peggy and the dog spotted a small magpie that was clearly not doing well. The woman took pity on the bird, took it home and then contacted a wildlife expert she knew for advice on how to care for it.
Thanks to the excellent care that the magpie, named Molly, received, she quickly made a full recovery. But now the new pet does not want to go back to the wild.
Juliette added that she will continue to take care of Molly, but at the same time the windows are always open so that the bird knows that it is free and can fly away at any time.
