Children are very attached to their four-legged friends. And when they have to be separated, it is more difficult for the little ones to cope with the separation than for adults.
A Korean girl had a little shaggy friend who lived on the street. He accompanied her to school and waited until she was free to take her home. The student had long asked her mother to take the little dog, but she was against it.
Once the little dog got very wet after a heavy rain and the girl disobeyed her mother and took him home. When the woman saw the dog, she could not stop being indignant.
The girl started to ask her parents to let the dog, but she was adamant.
But after a while, the mother’s heart could no longer withstand the girl’s pleas. The woman gave permission to keep the animal, but set two conditions: her daughter should take care of the animal and it could be kept only temporarily until permanent owners are found.
The girl did not pay much attention to the last point and jumped for joy. She named her friend King Kong. Finally the two were reunited, how happy they were to be together!
But one day there were people at the door who wanted the puppy for themselves. The mother told her daughter that it would be better for King Kong, and the girl calmed down for a while. While she rode with the animal, she hummed songs and didn’t think about parting at all.
However, when the girl returned to the car without her shaggy pet, she finally realized the bitterness of the loss. The girl cried bitterly all the way and continued to do so for the next few days.
The mother could not bear to see her daughter cry and was already regretting that she had given the puppy to another family.
King Kong also missed his girlfriend, he refused to eat, sat sadly by the door all the time waiting for the girl to come back to him.
And then one day the doorbell rang. When mother opened it, she saw on the threshold of the new owner of King Kong, sitting in her arms. They began to explain that the puppy could not get used to them, so they had to give him back.
The happy dog jumped out of their hands, rushed into the girl’s room and pounced on her. The little girl cried with happiness and hugged her beloved friend. The little dog began to lick the little girl’s face and shriek with joy.
That’s how wonderfully this story ended. The best friends are reunited and now no one will separate them.
