A guy named Sam Gert met Nimb when she was a blind and completely helpless kitten stained with motor oil.
Sam’s friend found Nimb on the street and brought her home. She just couldn’t pass because kitten wouldn’t survive alone!
They washed the baby in the sink and then put her near the heater to keep her warm. Her frozen body shivering, she was thin and weak enough to fall asleep in Sam’s palm and not respond to outside stimuli for 45 minutes.
Sam and his girlfriend kept two dogs and two cats at home, so they doubted they could handle a fifth pet so young.
But Nimb herself obviously didn’t understand what “temporary shelter” meant. She had a warm home, caring people, what more could she ask for? She didn’t want to leave this place at all, so she did everything she could to finally fall in love with her benefactors.
After meeting the dogs, Nimb swarmed up and took a threatening stance to show who she was dealing with.
The good-natured dogs understood and accepted the fact that she was important here. Such a small girl, but she showed great courage and was ready to fight for the right to live in the house of her dreams.
The big dog Zep was the first to offer friendship to the kitten, because he is a very nice guy, and she is so touching and fragile … He gently took her in his arms and tried to warm, comfort and protect her at the same time.
After a while, Nimb even conquered the local cats. In just 6 weeks she was completely with them in the new place she loved so much.
