The kitten was rescued from the street life. It turned out to be unique. Three-month-old Zodiac was brought to Lifelong Animal Protection Charity (LAP), an animal welfare organization in Hong Kong, after being saved from an uncertain fate.
The pet advocate, who has rescued many cats and kittens over the years, noticed a reddish cat in an alley near LAP’s cat center and realized where it should be taken.
“This old lady rescues many kittens that live at bird markets, as well as unwanted kittens from stores. Maybe the Zodiac is one of those unwanted kittens that went out on the street to save life,” the volunteers say.
“When the Zodiac arrived, the rescue worker warned us that he was scared and a little angry,” they added.
But once he got some affection and love, he not only softened his attitude toward people, but immediately began seeking their attention, as if he realized he had fallen into good hands.
He became affectionate and loving. They noticed that the kitten did not look like all the others – he had unique features, fewer teeth and a false bite. They showed him to the vet, but he found no diseases.
His unique appearance hasn’t affected his health and only adds to his charm.
“He eats a little sloppily, but that doesn’t bother him,” say the animal welfare workers. He remains with a loving family of guardians, waiting for permanent owners.”
Zodiak has become very affectionate and purrs unstoppably when hugged, which is his favorite activity. He enjoys a new home environment, demanding attention and petting from his caretakers.
Despite a difficult start in life, the kitten is quickly settling into his foster home and beginning to thrive. He may look a little unusual, but he is perfect and looking forward to his next adventure.
