Immense gratitude: restaurant owner feeds stray dogs, they are very grateful to him

Five years ago, a stray dog showed up on the doorstep of a small restaurant in Peru. Ortiz, the restaurant’s owner, decided to feed the animal. The restaurant owner didn’t just put out the leftovers – he made the dog a personal dinner.

The hungry dog returned the next evening. Ortiz offered the dog a free dinner again – and it became their new tradition. From then on, the nameless and no longer hungry dog came every night. He became Ortiz’s first truant visitor to the restaurant.

The rumor of the restaurant owner’s kindness and generosity spread among local dogs as more and more dogs came to see him. They sat down on the doorstep and peered in with hungry eyes. The restaurant owner set a “table” for each of them, and everyone left full, happy, and wagging their tails.

“For me, they are the best customers,” Ortiz says.

Some come every day, some once, but all strays love this chef. Dogs know how to be grateful.

The restaurant’s guests are not at all embarrassed by the neighborhood dogs. In addition, many have joined the chef’s charity and also contributed to the care of the truant Peruvians.

It’s hard to count how many lives Chef has saved in the five years since he fed the first stray dog. He has changed the lives of truants by accepting their “thank you” in dog language as payment for the meal. Chef Ortiz makes the world a little kinder every day – and that’s a fact.
