They didn’t let him down : Caring people were able to save a sparrow that needed help
This story took place on a hot day in Palm Springs when the author decided to swim in the pool.

It was so hot that birds were literally falling from the sky. We were sitting in the pool when this guy fell right in front of us. He was lying on a hot sidewalk with his beak open, so I ran in and took some water and poured it into his mouth. Then we decided to fill a plate with water and put it in the shade.
In the shade.
It was obvious from his breathing that he was clearly not feeling well.
He felt sick.
After a while he got up, but was still motionless.
Motionless.

While we were watching him for two hours, he was actually dozing ….

Two hours later he woke up and started tweeting and looking around. It seems that he get better …
