Man adopted sick fox and lasting friendship was born

Mike Trowler adopted a wounded fox. He gave him a decent home and helped him recover. The fox was given the name Cropper.

Cropper was found by an animal welfare organization called The Fox Project on a road in England. This animal welfare organization is dedicated to rescuing foxes .After the examined of the fox, it was found to have toxoplasmosis. It was determined that the animal needed to be euthanized or put up for adoption. Fortunately, the fox got adopted from a very nice man.

While foxes look like dogs and they purr like cats, they are not a domestic species. Taming these wild animals is quite difficult.

Since Mike was used to caring for and befriending wounded foxes, he had no trouble letting Cropper stay with him. The fox made himself comfortable in his new home and Mike helped him get healthy again. He loved to be petted on the belly and to cuddle with cats in the house.

Unfortunately, Cropper passed away after only six years. During his stay with Mike, the fox had enjoyed a great life and was well cared for. This fox and his owner cherished a wonderful relationship and Mike cared for Cropper as much as Cropper cared for Mike.

Later, Mike took care of baby foxes that needed to be cared for before they were released to find their way in the wild on their own. He also took an adult fox into his home and adopted him. Mike named him Jack.

Although Jack is a wild animal, however, he does not act like one. He can be seen playing ball with Mike or watching TV. Then, when he gets tired, he can be seen taking a nap in Mike’s arms.

Mike bathes Jack regularly so he doesn’t stink up the house. Foxes can smell pretty awful. Although foxes are not considered ideal pets, Jack is an exception to this rule.
