Grieving woman sees face of her beloved dog in clouds

Our pets are more than just animals – they are like best friends, part of the family. And if they die one day, they leave a big gap.

Many grieving owners console themselves with the thought that their beloved animals have crossed the “Rainbow Bridge” and are happily waiting for them on the other side.

This was the situation faced by a young woman who received a sudden message from her deceased pooch.

Lucy Ledgeway, 19 years old and a native of York, England, was devastated to learn that her beloved dog Sunny had passed away. The 14-year-old Jack Russell terrier died as a result of a seizure.

There was a sad mood in the house ever since and Lucy couldn’t hold back her sadness. That’s why she went out with her boyfriend to get some fresh air and clear her head.

They came to an area where they liked to walk Sunny and somehow Lucy felt as if her dog was very close to her at that moment.

“It was really weird. I thought to myself that I would like to see Sunny in heaven, as a sign that she was doing well,” she told the Daily Mail.

But then Lucy looked up into the sky and suddenly saw Sunny’s face. “I was crying my eyes out and I looked up at the sky and there was Sunny.”

Those who don’t believe in such encounters might not see anything or think it was just a coincidence, but for Lucy, it was the proof she needed to know her dog was in a better place.

“After I saw Sunny in the sky, I felt warmth. It was her way of showing she was OK,” Lucy said.

She took a photo of this special encounter that went viral on the Internet after she posted it on Twitter. It reached more than 100,000 likes and many dog lovers expressed their sympathy. Some of them even shared similar stories.

Because such encounters happen all the time, you might think that animals really do send us signs that they’re okay in this way.

So if you’ve ever lost a beloved animal, you should always look up to the sky, maybe the next sign is hidden there.
